I asked Bernie did he remember the application the Trust made to State Tourism in March 2017. The ladies at the council did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, he couldn’t remember. We spent weeks gathering the information for the application. So rather than get into a debate about who invented the wheel I would suggest the Trust get a copy of this document from the council. It is a great read. Also, I would check your January meeting minutes, another good read. The only thing I didn’t notice was a copy of the Test Bore application. But I’m sure if you ask the guys at Impax Drilling they would soon send you one. At that stage –January 2018, the only thing missing for the test bore to be assessed was permission from the land owner-Crown Lands. Please remember guys this is for a Test Bore only. As for the cost of the test bore, Impax Drilling was kind enough to give us a quote for the Rolls Royce of test bores- every test imaginable. So you would need to call tenders to obtain a real costing, I would like to thank Fred Browning and the trust for the opportunity of working on this great community project. And I wish you every success with the project in the future.
