Collins Park Lighting has not given up on a test bore at Yarrie Lake. We approached Roy Butler, the new local member to talk to the Trust about their concerns about the bore at Yarrie Lake, so we can all help to get this project moving. Collins Park Lighting also employed Tahlee Consulting Services(Bernie Martin) to map the lake, to get an accurate picture-size,megs and to see if a bore of 150megs would make a difference in keeping the water level above the plimsoll line. A big Thank You to A.J- Andrew John, Peel Valley Machinery for doing the mapping and all your support. The report is in and the news is fantastic. Wee Waa Chamber of Commerce held a public meeting about a Murray Darling Basin grant. The meeting was well supported with the vast majority voting to support a test bore at Yarrie Lake, to help the shire with more tourism. Collins Park Lighting welcome the Wee Waa Chamber on board. Thank you for the support. Anything we can do to assist you in your grant application feel free to ask. We have had a meeting with local member Roy Butler and hope to have more good news on this project soon. A huge Thank You to everyone who has encouraged us to keep this Test Bore project alive. Your enthusiasm is as great today as it was when you dug deep to get this Test Bore started.
